Nintendo plans to add new stories, characters, and game modes to Fire Emblem Heroes as part of a post launch push for its smartphone strategy game.
“We plan to add new stories continually after release, at a pace of about two a month or one every two weeks,” Fire Emblem Heroes game director Kouhei Maeda told IGN. “We also plan to add things like new characters and skills, as well as new game modes that go in different directions from the current gameplay.” Maeda works for Intelligent Systems and directed Fire Emblem Fates for Nintendo 3DS.
According to Nintendo game director Shingo Matsushita, the company plans to keep working on Fire Emblem Heroes as long as players continue to support it.
