World War Z 2 and the Friday the 13th reboot will no longer open in theaters in 2017.
Variety reports that Paramount has delayed both movies’ release dates. This is the fourth time Friday the 13th has been pushed back, with the horror film previously slated for release on January 13 and then October 13, 2017, before repeated production delays moved it off those dates. Paramount will now release mother! in Friday’s previous spot. That’s the Darren Aronofsky/Jennifer Lawrence picture which will likely be an awards season contender.
