Star Trek: Discovery will launch at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, September 24, on CBS.
The next two episodes of the new Star Trek series will immediately become available on the streaming service CBS All Access that same night, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Then, each new Discovery episode will air every Sunday on CBS All Access.
The first season of Star Trek: Discovery will also be split into two halves. Eight episodes of the sci-fi show will air through November 5, followed by the remaining seven, starting in January.
Star Trek: Discovery has seen a number of setbacks in its path to the premiere. Showrunner Bryan Fuller left the series last year, and CBS delayed Star Trek: Discovery for a number of reasons back in January.
