Fox to make John Green’s Turtles All the Way Down into a film

Fox is set to turn John Green’s novel “Turtles All the Way Down” into a feature film, according to Variety. Green is the author of the novel “The Fault in Our Stars,” which was turned into a 2014 feature film starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, that took in $307.2 in the worldwide box office. They also turned Green’s novel “Paper Towns” into a film which made $85.5 million.

Turtles All the Way Down is the story of a sixteen-year-old girl named Aza with obsessive compulsive dosorder. She’s trying to solve the mystery of a fugitive billionaire with her friend Daisy to nab the $100,000 reward. The film will be overseen by Temple Hill, which oversaw The Fault in Our Stars, with Isaac Klausner and Marty Bowen. Green will executive produce the film with Rosianna Halse Rojas. Fox 2000 has the project with Erin Siminoff and Molly Saffron.
