Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter films, has spoken up about the decision to keep Johnny Depp on as Gillert Grindelwald in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Speaking to EW, Radcliffe said “it’s a very hard thing for me,” because he wants to support the producers who gave him “a great start in life and an amazing job.” He avoided taking a stand one way or another, for or against the decision to keep Depp on.
Depp has been accused of abuse by his ex-wife Amber Heard. Heard released photos of herself, bruised and battered, allegedly at the hands of Depp.
