NO TRANSPARENCY

Kudos to Candice Malcolm for highlighting how having already seriously damaged Canada/India relations with his India sightseeing trip, culminating when Sikh extremist Jaspal Atwal showed up at a dinner he hosted, Prime Minister Trudeau is doing even more harm by blaming the Atwal affair on the India government (“New video casts doubt on Trudeau’s version of Atwal scandal,” March 2). Refusing to allow National Security Director Daniel Jean to answer Conservative MPs’ questions about this, followed by Minister of Safety Ralph Goodale running from the media, shows we are not getting the truth. As Will Rogers said, when you are deep in a hole stop digging. Trudeau promised transparency and we need to start seeing that.

(It would appear the Liberals just hope this whole mess will just go away, with no more questions asked)

NOTHING TO SEE HERE

The Trudeau agenda is a progressive window dressing work-in-progress complete with costumes. Homegrown reefers and edibiles will be a side dish available later this year. Eat your heart out. The economy takes care of itself while terrorists make themselves at home in Canada. Canada was named as a target by radical Islamists. Nothing to worry about in Ottawa. Justin Trudeau represents a younger generation of leaders. Unfortunately for Canada, he’s clueless.

NEED THAT HAT!

Don’t be tantalizing! Where can I get some ‘make Trudeau a drama teacher again’ caps?

POISONOUS IDEOLOGY

Re “Privilege banter is academic nonsense” (Editorial, March 8): “Privilege banter” is not “academic” in any genuine sense of the word, as the scientifically bogus ideology of Cultural Marxism from which it springs developed outside of academia in the political scribbling of Engels, Marx and Lenin, later refined by other Marxist-Leninist ideologues, who saw and continue to see the world through a hierarchy of “privilege,” in which one is either a “privileged” oppressor or a member of some disadvantaged and “oppressed” victim group. This poisonous belief system, which is an ideology of envy, resentment and often violent hatred masquerading as an ideology of social justice, aka “Socialism,” first entered academia in the 1930s in the so-called Frankfurt School at Goethe University, Germany, from which it spread to North America when some of its members fled to the United States in 1934, setting up shop at Columbia University, New York. Not social justice, but oppression and mass death have been the defining hallmarks of every “Socialist” regime ever tried: The Soviet Socialism of Lenin and Stalin, whose defining characteristics were executions, mass starvation and slave labour camps, the National Socialism (“Nazism”) of Hitler and his genocidal hatred of the Jews and other “Untermenschen” (subhumans), Mao Zedong’s China, where arbitrary executions, purges and forced labour caused at least 40 million deaths, the killing fields of Pol Pot’s Cambodia, the hellhole that is North Korea, and the pauperized population of Maduro’s Venezuela. Call the nonsensical name-calling of “privilege” for what is: An excuse to express unvarnished hate.
