They’re young, talented and successful. And forever bonded as brothers — who also live with cystic fibrosis.
Living with this genetic disorder has given these brothers a unique perspective on life, time and the importance of doing what makes you happy. For this reason, Mario and Luca left their successful careers in architecture and engineering to pursue their creative passion of design. They founded the award- winning family of brands that includes NOGU (founded in 2012), Joseph Nogucci and Daniel Christian Tang. They are the faces behind the first luxury 3D jewelry brand.
While the brothers are doing what they love, they are also giving back. Just recently, NOGU launched its Kite Collection of whimsical, hand-crafted charm bracelets crafted from 4mm beads and hand-strung in clear elastic cord.
The Kite Collection consists of crystal charm bracelets in eight variations, including 18-karat gold, rose gold, silver, and gunmetal, each with the Cystic Fibrosis Canada kite logo as the charm.
Here’s the thing: 50% of gross sales will be donated to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, with funds going to support research, clinical care and advocacy for Canadians living with CF.
“It has always been a dream of ours to give back to the CF community,” said Mario and Luca Lavorato, founders of NOGU.
“We are grateful that the strides made by Cystic Fibrosis Canada have afforded us the stability in our health to do what we love, support a cause that is so close to us, and to help create a world without cystic fibrosis.”
