Ryan Reynolds Responds to Kanye West's Deadpool Music Offer

Kanye West wants in on the soundtrack for future Deadpool sequels, but Ryan Reynolds doesn’t seem to be too keen about it. The Merc With A Mouth will have to learn to share screen time for the time being as Wade Wilson’s next appearance will be on Drew Goddard’s X-Force spinoff where Reynolds’ Wade Wilson will reunite with Josh Brolin’s Cable and Zazie Beetz’ Domino. Plot details for the offshoot are still scant at the moment so who knows what state Deadpool will be in by the time he sets off for his third standalone movie? Even now, the given threequel is already garnering interest not just from fans, but for other personalities who wants to be featured in the Fox’s R-rated franchise.

While Deadpool‘s soundtrack feels a lot less curated than say, Guardians of the Galaxy or even Suicide Squad (which copied GOTG in this respect), fans are digging all the musical choices that Ryan and his team have made with the last two films. They’ve embraced a varied mix of genres and singers, from DMX’s “X Gon’ Give It To Ya” to Alicia Morton’s “Tomorrow.” And if Kanye gets what he wants, one (or two) of his songs might end up in Deadpool 3‘s official track listing.
