Timeless’ two-part finale will air later this year in December.
The Timeless Writers Twitter account revealed the news, however an exact premiere date was not confirmed. John Showalter, who has directed several episodes of the show including “The Capture of Benedict Arnold” and “Hollywoodland,” will helm the finale.
Lauren Greer, the co-writer of “The Day Reagan Was Shot,” will pen the first hour of the finale. Arika Lisanne, who wrote “Stranded” and “The Red Scare”, will write the second hour.
NBC canceled Timeless for a second time earlier this year before ordering a special two-part finale to wrap up the story.
