Many viewers are excited to see what Johnson does with his upcoming Star Wars trilogy, but Knives Out is shaping up to be a very compelling offering in the interim. Johnson is well-known for thinking outside the box and defying genre conventions with his work, so it’ll be interesting to see what his approach is here. The sales pitch is it’s a modern-day whodunit in the vein of Agatha Christie, but there’s probably a lot more to it than meets the eye. And there’s apparently no telling who else might join the cast. Johnson fans are likely awaiting news about frequent collaborator Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s possible involvement in Knives Out.
