Murray — considered by many to be the world’s ugliest dog — has found his forever home.
The Weimaraner had been minutes from death at the hands of a vet but when he started wagging his tail, the animal doc couldn’t put him down.
The poor pooch has a heartbreaking tail of woe.
He can’t keep his tongue in his mouth because he contracted distemper — a disease that can be a killer for canines — causing his teeth to fall out and leaving him with his loopy look.
His owner then dumped Murray on a Puerto Rican beach called Dead Dog Beach where scores of animals are left for dead.
Now, there’s been a big turnaround. A Massachusetts family fell in love with the seemingly doomed dog after he was rescued by The Sato Project.
He was adopted by Mackenzie Gallant and her family.
“The signature tongue out is just the cutest thing, and his crooked features, if you look at his face closely you notice his ears aren’t aligned right on his head,” Gallant told the Daily Mail.
“His quirks make him even cuter and more special.”
Now, the family has started an Instagram page for the suddenly popular pooch to raise awareness of rescue dogs and distemper.
